Powakaddy Freeway 2

Looking to buy a new trolley - Anybody have views on the PK FW2. I have seen bad reviews but the trolley looks solid enough?

Ive had one 3 months. Its great. Folds easily, holds its charge well, easily does 27 holes on an 18 hole battery.
9 speeds, easy to operate, fits powacaddy bag perfectly.

I have been using the FWII since February
Had the 2 previous models and this is the best PK I have had yet

The first battery had to go back although mine was a very since
I even got 36 holes out of the 18 hole lithium battery the other week in the Royal North Devon Kashmir Cup - admittedly RND is a flat course but both rounds were 4+ hours long so it was on for over 9 hours and still had 1 bar of power left at the end
I know PKs are more expensive than the likes of go-kart but you do get what you pay for with PK

as an option, I saw the new Sun Mountain 4-wheel push trolley/cart last night. Light as feather, four big wheels, brake on one wheel and folds as small as a GoKart. £139 in my pro-shop

The Freeway 2 is the reason I didn't buy a GK, quality is in a different league. Unfortunately so is the price, the lithium battery option with brake is £700

I've had the original Freeway for about 5 years, and I'm still on the same battery (I do carry in winter though). I had a new switch fitted last year at a local retailer who did it for £15 while I waited. I bought a second hand Freeway this year, and donated this one to HID.

I can't tell you what their service is like, because I've never had to use it, although I can tell you after a few accidents, hitting tree's, tipping up (through reckless driving) etc, it's still in one piece on nothing broken, and the icing on the cake, is that after 5 years, it still has the original lower bungee.
