Junior
Tour Winner
IMO the hero will be Ricky Fowler and we will lose by 2 points. The Americans have a point to prove and this will be a Hollywood moment for the US team and there 'loved by all' captain, Tom Watson.
Don't forget how many of the European players are in fact residents of Florida, or spend most of their year in warmer climes eg Dubai, S.Africa, Australia, mainland Europe etc. The days of the hardy British golfer who laughs at cold weather and tweaks the nose of a gale are largely gone.
I think this RC will be a close one. The US have some very good players and not all of ours are in tip top from, Poulter and Westwood being obvious examples. I agree with Junior that Fowler may be the star this year.
3 days of freezing cold rain ( for the yanks anyway)
Overall Record: Played 15, Won 12, Lost 3, Halved 0, Points 12
Weather is looking like it will be nice a calm around that weekend
Can't really see it being too much of a factor
they cant predict accurately more than 5 days ahead plus the met office said the Northwest could have Gales at the end of the week
I see where you are coming from, but all of team Europe will have started playing in the weather conditions likely to appear in Scotland. The likes of Ricky Fowler, who has grown up in California and gone to college / university in Arizona (I think) will not have half the experience in those testing weather conditions.
