@IanJamesPoulter: Booked 6 business seats for my wife & nanny to fly home & @British_Airways downgrade my nanny so katie has no help for 10 hours with 4 kids.

Have to say this is how I read it.

I have no problem with him having the money etc. and yes it is a very poor show from BA maybe he could of took the down grade though so his wife would of had assistance from their nanny.

I do though think it is unlikely any comment like this is going to get anything other than abuse in this day and age were lots of people are struggling to make ends meet.

does he? is that not down to how the individual reading it translates it? he in my opinion, tweets normal stuff to him, he has polished his ferrari, or has a first class seat downgraded. Thats his life, i personally dont feel he is rubbing us muggles in the face with his personal wealth.

Alot of flights have more tickets sold than there are seats. Airlines rely on people not turning up, being late or changing flights. I've had plenty of upgrades through this over the years. Must admit never been bumped down though.

Agree with Rooter 100% on this. The man should get what he pays for & is right to be annoyed.
No problem with him having a nanny either.
He's on the road a lot & can obviously afford to get help for his mrs.

Don't think there's much jealousy in most of the tweets, we'd all fly business class if we could. It wasn't complaining about not getting what he paid for that made me post, it's the fact that he think his wife having to look after all 4 of their own kids for 10 hours is something worth complaining about.

Yup.And he'll not have paid full whack for the seat either, or the nanny wouldn't have been emptied.Avios or exec club points used and the first to be papped is my professional guess.
