Quite right Rooter and btw, Newbury and Crookham fully qualifies as a "hidden gem" what a lovely course!
was that rent a fan........embarrassing how utterly in awe they were of a basic keepy up and hit shot.

It is a gem, a lot of people put off by par 69 and sub 6000 yards, but its anything but easy! Last week was the annual Pro-AM with BBO pro's in each team. OK the winner shot a -6 63, but last was a +11 80! The course can chew you up and spit you out!
