Guys, who do you use for sending clubs by courier? Looked at myhermes, but max length is 120cm whereas my box is 123cm!!

i have been using parcel force but its around £8.50 a pop now.
Not sure the driver would picks up would notice 3cm longer i'd stick 120 down on the booking form?

As some one who works for a parcel company with the sheer number of parcels being sent there is not enough time to individually check every single parcel so you will most likely get away with it being slightly longer the majority of people getting caught sending parcels are because they claim the parcels weigh a few kilos where as in reality they are into 10 plus kilos when they get weighed

I've found MyHermes to be excellent - everything picked up and delivered on time thus far, and £4.20 to send with £50 insurance included (add £1 for signature on delivery).

I've sent a couple of 120-125cm boxes and had no problems, albeit I typically cut the box down to sub-120cm if I'm sending a shorter club.

Great value and great service in my experience.

Another happy Hermes user. I always cut the box down to suit the exact size of the club so that it doesn't have room to rattle about in the box.
Pay the £1 extra for tracking and never had a failed delivery. Sent over 50 items with them this year to boot.

Same here.
With the Post Office wanting 12 quid they can sing for it.

I used Parcel2Go when I got rid of a load of clubs with varying degrees of success. The items under 120cm went via Yodel and (shockingly) were collected when promised and delivered within the 48 hours that was promised. I must admit I was amazed as Yodel are usually garbage.

The items that were over 120cm went via CityLink and it was a complete nightmare! Even though you put an address label onto the box CityLink take the items back to depot and put their own label on which has the barcode etc. For the 3 items I sent they managed to mix up all the labels so each of the 3 items ended up with the wrong person!!

Whilst this was not Parcel2Go's fault their customer service was garbage. You can only talk to people via their 'LiveChat' option and the guys I spoke to were (largely speaking) clueless. I was promised that they were dealing with it but ultimately I had to go to CityLink myself to do it as P2G couldn't be trusted.

If its a non-urgent delivery, I use My Hermes (and have never had a problem with things slightly over 120cm) and if its a timed delivery I use TNT via Interparcel.

PFWW is a rip off, with the 48 hrs more expensive than TNT's 24 hours.
