Posting from a Windows Phone

Although I am on reading the forum most days I generally only post from the laptop (hence the low post count - my excuse and sticking to it!).

Had posted occasionally from my previous Android, but tried today from the work Nokia Lumia - when I enter the text area the keyboard comes up (as normal) but them immediately goes away. So never have a chance to type a letter.

Anyone else had this?

No problems experienced on other sites so far.

Not used a Windows phone, but had the same issue on an iPad.

Is there a NEXT button on or near the keyboard as if you were filling in a form with multiple boxes to fill in?
If so, hit NEXT and all should be well.

Done some more checks, and it looks like it is only Reply With Quote option that is behaving like this - was that the same for you?

Don't seem to have a "next" option available though.

I thought it was any reply that caused it for me but I could be wrong. Didn't really pay any attention to the circumstances that caused it, sorry.

Do you have the facility to post a screenshot?

I'm surprised no-one else has the same problem, unless there aren't any other Windows phone users posting?

The recent frig to stay logged in since last site changes reminded me on this - still have this problem where the on screen keyboard does not stay on screen so you can't post from the phone. No issues on other sites.

Anyone else seen this, or sorted it.

Same thing happens for me and I am unable to post using my Windows mobile unless I go into Advanced reply, but even that can be temperamental. Supposedly Windows Mobile supported site coming soon though, so that should improve things
