Hi all again! I've been busy and so just reading recently

I've decided to get another new bag (The one I got not long since is utter tosh. Was v. cheap and am too embarrassed to even mention where I got it).

However... what I'd really like is one which allows the clubs to slide in and out easily. Getting clubs in/out of current bags is v annoying if you've stuffed anything bigger than a handkerchief into the side pockets. Ideally I'd like one with full length rigid dividers - if such a thing exists.

Anyone got any suggestions or recommendations? (Budget not really an issue)

Are you looking for a cart bag or a carry bag?
Are you the type of guy ( like me) who wants a bag that matches your Irons?

I recently switched from carrying to using a trolley and HID bought me a Ping Pioneer cart bag at Xmas. It looks pretty good , seems very well made and it's got loads of pockets etc . Great so far.
Also has 14 dividers plus a separate putter well......which I find a bit odd as this means it is essentially designed to carry 15 clubs.

Great bag. Thoroughly recommended.

I have a mizuno aerolite carry bag. the dividers are full length but not rigid. The main full length side pocket is not the biggest but can take both halves of my outerwear.

I would recommend any Ogio bag. They look good, are top quality and full of great storage pockets. They only make bags for various sports so they know what they are doing.

The latest bag even has a dedicated cigar pocket with matching cigar holder.

I'd recommend the Callaway Warbird Hot bag. Loads of room for waterproofs etc and full length (not rigid) dividers

Yep, agree with that. Just bought one myself and very pleased with it.

I have been using one for 8 months and whilst I agree its an excellent bag, my only argument is that sometimes, clubs are hard to put away.

If you can get one the bennington quiet lite organisor is the one your after!

So far the only Benningtons I've come across in the UK are the cart bag variety, though that's not to say its impossible to get the stand bag varient. Infact If I could get the standbag varient it would be a great addition to my kit.

I use the Bennington Cartbag & it really is excellent.

There is also the Twistlock system that proline do, though have heard varying reports about those. Though having not tried a twistlock I couldn't say, though they are more readily available in the UK than my bag.

Should have mentioned it to be a cart bag. Thanks for the suggestions - I'll check them out. (Quite like the idea of a cigar pocket with matching holder. A shame that I've given up this year and am reduced to standing down-wind of partners who still smoke...)

The bennington bag goes on a trolley very easily, My mate has the same bag as the picture and he always pulls.

He had to get his off ebay though. I think its a shame Bennington dont have more of these bags over here, i really think they would take off!

I've got two bags I really like, one for carrying (ping), the other with stands removed (callaway) for Trolley.
I struggle with getting clubs to "drop" to the bottom....I often have to shake the bag.....one with separate dividers would be SO good.
I'd like to fit something on both that would house the putter separately.....nothing worse than struggling to get the thing out amongst 3 wedges.

I have a twist lock cart bag and I love it. it is heavy so only advisable to use on trolley but I would highly recommend it for keeping clubs seperate and no head clatter. Also the top spins so you don't have to fiddle about trying to get the right club
