Our four year old black lab started vomiting on Friday and wouldn't eat, so a trip to the vet was in order. Initially the vet thought she had picked something up like a gastric bug but decided to take an X-ray. Little did we know what she had actually picked up...

you could sell those to @Crow

Flipping heck. What are the smaller ones? Hopefully swift recovery and no more golf balls for breakfast!
The vet isn't sure but thinks the smaller one might be a golf ball that has been there for several years and dissolved. It was found in the intestine and was the one causing the blockage. The larger ones also seem to have been in situ for months!

OMG! No wonder she was vomiting, there'd be no pushing them out!

In the past, she has vomited balls up. After the first episode she wore a muzzle but could still manage to get the balls in her mouth. After that we wouldn't take her on the range, but birds pick the balls up thinking they're eggs and then drop them on the farm where she finds them.

Hopefully learned her lesson now!
