Poor old Murray

Difficult period of time to be a top player, when you have two of the best players ever to play the game in your era, In Djoko and Fed. Nadal was not bad on clay either.

All in the head with Murray I don't think he believes he can beat him.

Murray is amazing and he has loads of talent but when it comes down to Djorkovic he is mentally not strong enough to cope,he is constantly berating his team and it is effecting his game.

That's what I mean, Djokovic personally robbed Murray of 4 Australian Open titles alone.

I don't think it's ALL in the head. I believe Djok is simply the best player in the world - and has been for a long time!

Much as I think Murray is a great player, I think he would have also been beaten by Federer this year if the draw had pitted them against each other.

Will be interesting to see whether Nadal can come back strong in the clay season, especially Rolland Garros!

At least one Murray is an Aussie Champion though!

He'll beat him when he's ready and good enough, which he obviously isn't at the moment.

He is ready and good enough, he's beaten him twice in slam finals already.

I don't agree Murray doesn't have it in the head, it's all about talent and Djokovic has more. The guy is a beast.

Murray was immense, when under great pressure from Raonic, on Friday... I gave up watching [yesterday], after the first set. as it looked like Andy was just going to rollover and give up... Have just watched the remainder of the match and how wrong was I... Total respect for the man...

The better player won - mainly because he's the better player but also I wonder if Andy truly believes he can beat him in a slam final. Credit to him for really fighting after the first set which looked ominous, and he did well to grit his teeth and get back into the match - or at least make a fist of it.

How on earth Djokovic stretches those elastic legs and arms so far, at such speed, with such control over the racket head is just amazing - and a tad irritating for us Murray fans.

Andy is brilliant. One of the greatest British sportspeople ever. I can't think of any brits currently competing that I admire more in any sport. Unfortunately, Novak is on another level again.

Shame about the first set yesterday but nothing in it for the other two. And he spoke so well afterwards - a great guy.

Andy's best chance may well be at Roland Garros in a few months. Djokovic showed a rare afternoon of weakness there last year when he got to the final needing to win to complete the set. He will surely feel extra pressure this time round as all the talk about winning all 4 slams, and potentially getting halfway to a GS, ramps up. With Nadal basically gone and Fed in his twilight years the French will be a great chance for Murray.

Murray's ability to accept things he has no or very little control over is going to be enhanced when his nipper arrives. Then he will truly understand the meaning of powerlessness in the face of an indefatigable and clinical foe. And he will be a better tennis champion for it.
