"Today is the grand opening of the English National Fitting Centre. A lot of snow on the ground so no golf today, but it's nice of Mizuno staff player Gary Orr to stop by and show us how it's done."

Umm its ok for Gazza to hit some balls but no one else???? I would have thought you could get a few baskets together for the others... its not like we did not know the now was coming!

Sorry no photo as I cant pull it off Facebook.

im a bit annoyed that they're referring to it as the English national fitting centre, bearing in mind they've closed the Welsh and Scottish NFC's. They should be calling it the Mizuno UK fitting centre really, with "not for Northern, welsh or Scottish Oiks" in brackets...

I should stop moaning about this TBH. Im turning into an old woman...

And rightly so! ;) :D

:D I envy you mate (or maybe I don't). I'm definitely going to go down there at some point. Might couple it with a round on the course too, it's suppose to be lovely.

It sure looks it on the website. 2 Courses and an academy, looks kinda posh too.

Their strategy apparently when they closed the other NFC's was that Mizuno could reach out to more players with touring fitters and therefore reach a bigger target audience..........ok makes sense.......then they go and announce this:o
methinks the accountants at Mizuno simply calculated the rest dont make any money, simple

To be honest I didn't think much of it really, the person before was having a good old chat with the fitter in my time, gave it 5 mins & had to knock on the door. Fitter didn't know he had another appointment but found the details, had to wait for him to have a spot of lunch I think then he had me in & out in around 40mins as he had someone after me. Pretty poor.

Yep, that would have really pee`d me off, I think I would have had a word, its a day out not just a fitting and I am surprised that they had not worked that out.
