Hi all, first post,
I'm not new to golf but I'm a very very casual player.
Usually I play about 5-6 times a year and have real trouble as I'm 6'8 but use standard length clubs. Until recently my best round is about 105(terrible I know) my average round would be about 113. I played the other day and from no where was striking fantastic, did not mis cue or top anything and ended up with a 92, which was only that high as I'm a terrible chipper. Would have probably been 85 or lower if my chipping was solid. I never used to carry a driver as I couldn't hit it but it's been going great. Although when I try and add distance I goes heavily right. I'm wondering if this is likely to be poor technique or because I have a Chicago golf beta titanium matrix driver that I got for free. Is it worth getting a new driver?
Also I have been to my local par 3 9 hole course that ranges 100-168yrd holes. Is it better to practice chipping there or just play more full rounds?
Any advice apreciated
