Hi all,

With the wet weather giving way to some sunshine across the UK (touch wood), people are finally getting back out on to to the golf course. What I want to know is.... what's your favourite time of year to play golf?

Hope everyone is well,

Nick

Very specific time frames there but I went Jul-Aug as it usually guarantees better weather... My favourite conditions would have to be somewhere around 18 degrees with blue sky's and low wind.

September October for me as the courses are still in good condition and its not to busy on the course.

I love anytime its fairly warm.
I put may/june.
However anytime the course is in good nick, the companys good is the best time.
Im not a great lover of bright sunshine due to having sensitive eyes, and being
useless with sunglasses on when playing a shot.
Warm,dull and overcast is perfect.
I also love going on the course late in the evenings with my son, cant beat the bond
we build up,and best of all he loves it.

I went for September/ October. I'm usually playing relatively well at that time of year and getting cut. I like a bit of wind and a softer course. I struggle when the course is rock hard to be honest.

Why isn't there an any time of year option?
I love the different challeges the seasons bring.
Summer golf on baked hard fairways needing to take into account of the run out of shots.
Spring or Autumn when there is some run but you can go at the greens when they are holding well.
Winter is great for target golf, point, aim and shoot.

April for me (so went for March/April).

The sun starts to (occasionally) appear. Winter is gone. Grass is growing. Course starts to look good with long shadows of trees across the greens. Not to bouncy out there either.

Oh, and there's a small comp over the pond going on to whet the appetite!

May to July for me, so chose "May-June".

It's great to be able to get out ANY evening you're "released" early, get back to the clubhouse after a quick round and sit sipping a cool drink whilst watching the sun set!

I manage that about once ...... every two years! :(
