A old boy at my club was playing with me last year when the group behind shouted "fore" their ball rattled into the old boys power kaddy and broke the plastic cover clean off the handle. The culprit was very apologetic and said " i have this trolley when I'm not carrying and i happen to know that the handle is a cheap replacement. Get me a price and i'll bank transfer you the money "
I found out a few months later the culprit had given him the number to domino's pizza!!!!!
Today i was on the sun terrace having a pint post round when i saw the old boy changing his golf bag onto another buggy (where people dump their trolleys when booking in). It turns out the visitor was back but this time with his power kaddy. He swapped the bags over and left him with his old trolley with a broken handle.
The blokes face when he come out the shop was priceless . He asked the closest people (me and four others) if we saw anything and one of the old boys old playing partners said " some bloke said he was in a hurry to pick up his domino's pizza"
