Anyone use a plumbers neck style putter?

Looking at new putters and wondering the benefits of a plumbers neck style putter over other styles.

They seem the most popular on the Tour's.

I've never 'got' the 'putter head is behind the shaft' clubs, feels like a big GI offset club to me, but it didnt stop me buying a few incl Scotties and never getting on with them.
Now got a non offset seemore that feels great but havent used it on the course yet

That could well be related to which eye is dominant.

Cheers.

Went and had a shot of a few on lunch break.

The Ping Scottsdale Anser 2 was really taking my fancy. Especially adjustable length and counter balance.

I see myself leaning the shaft forward on some putts, de-lofting the putter. Feel a Plumber Neck style would maybe stop me trying to do this.
