Longest iron I carry is a 5 and my next club is a 7-metal. I then have two prehistoric 3&5 metals that I'm falling out of love with.

I need something to plug the gap between the 5-iron and 7-wood and something that I can muscle up there off the deck as replacement for the 3&5. Wondered about a 4-metal as a catch-all.

Does anyone have any recommendations at all?

You need some hybrids JD. So easy to hit and you can't shank them.
