Had the pleasure of playing this course on the cheap. To be honest, I would play again at full price.
Firstly, the staff and its members are a credit to the club. Very polite and courteous and made our group of 9 very welcome.

Its a parkland course with most holes lined with tree's. Its not as tight and narrow as you would expect, if anything the fairways are quite spacious. The views throughout the course were great.

Any short hitters will love the 1st par 5. Aim dead centre of the black/white pole on the fairway and you can expect the ball to travel over 350+yards...as the fairway goes down a massive drop. Didnt use the spiral path leading down to the fairway, instead I casually slid/sprinted down the cliff-like drop (with a electric trolley).
Wish I didnt now, must had pulled every muscle in my back...lol

Another usual aspect was the crossing to some of the other holes of a live railway with trains beeping and zipping past every so often.

Overall a very very nice experience, would had been that much sweeter if the ball dropped on the 8-9 birdie chances I had ......

Agree , its a great course that i try to play at least once a year. They host some big regional competitions and i also think it has been used as an open qualifying course a few times. Its always in great condition and they take 2 fore 1's in certain days.
