Hello all,
Returning to golf after nearly 8 years! Just checked my last inputted round was 2009! Bloody hell.


Looking for a regular playing partner near Sileby in Leicestershire. I intend to be playing Park Hill and Beedles Lake. Both the Par 3 (Short game practice) and the full courses.


Looking forward to exploring the extent of how deep the rough really is again ! Haha!

Gary (Region 3) is a member at Beedles Lake, he may know someone.

I would be happy to meet up for a round or two.
 
Yep I'm a member at Beedles Lake. Would be happy to arrange a game, but I usually play in the same group each week so I couldn't make it a regular thing.

No offence to anyone who likes it but I wouldn't be going to park hill out of choice.

Are you planning on joining somewhere or just playing where and when you fancy?

Gary, noted regards to Park Hill. I haven't played it yet, so might give it a once over. My intention is to play some of the local courses and then choose somewhere to join. But Beedles is the closest! A game would be good, would help with having a look round Beedles from someone who is a member. I can then tap you for all the info about the club not just the course.

I am busy with work for the next couple of weeks, imminent job change. But most def will be looking to arrange a game or two at the start of next month.

Sure, just give us a shout on this or by PM when you're ready.

Depending on your budget and course style preference, Rothley is relatively close to you as well, then Lingdale, Charnwood Forest and Longcliffe a little further that I can think of.
There also used to be a course called Six Hills just down the road from Park Hill but I haven't played it or even know if it's still going.

Apologies if youv'e lived there for years and you know all this :)
 
Missed this when I was on holiday. I'm a member at Lingdale and live in Loughborough. I'll back Gary up as I'm not really a fan of park hill either. If in Sileby Beedles is prob the nearest, six hills is still going, played there in the winter when we were shut and needed a golf fix!
