…at the Golf Bar simulator at Northcliffe Golf Club in Saltaire. Ryder cup 2016 here we come!

Has anyone had a go on one of these before? Are they much different to software/tech used for indoor fittings, or is it one and the same thing?

Looking forward to having a few shandies and the crack with the boys, before bombing it 350 + yards down the first fairway!.......(in four shots)…..

Bit of fun, but the putting and bunker play doesn't really work too well.

The ones I've used are quite enjoyable, but being a lefty for some reason it did not register all of my shots. And as Ethan says the putting and bunker play is a bit of a lottery.

Played on one 3 weeks ago. 10 points thru the first 5 holes, still on 10 points after 15!! Putting and bunkers are shocking, but I can't see them really improving it.

We've arranged to sack off the putting I think, I believe it can be set so all putts are gimmes? What's the crack with bunkers then?

The one I used you could set it to gimmies if it got within a certain distance. If you were in a bunker it just meant you should play you shot out of some thickish astroturf stuff if that makes sense. And the one I used the ball just nestled down in it so it was more like hacking out of the rough as opposed to splashing a shot out of a bunker.
