I played there last year - 36 holes, carvery lunch and sandwich tea for £75. One of the single best days of my golfing year. I've been asked to play in the same match this year - wouldn't miss it and can't wait!

great course; havenet been for years though, not surprised if they're charging £70 - i guess that's teh "Alliss factor" ?

Make sure you're hitting your woods straight , or take your putter off the tee down in the valley and for your second shots :)

It usually has some of the quickest greens around and is pretty dry and fast running. I have always enjoyed it and for a more traditional establishment is pretty welcoming to its visitors (unlike some who can't wait to take your money and get rid of you)

I work in Hindhead - I'm working on the road tunnels on the A3.

I played Blacknest on thursday - but haven't been to Hindhead.

Hindhead is just up the road from me, and is an excellent course, especially the front nine.

Have a game at Blackmoor, cheaper than Hindhead and a good test. A Harry Colt course. Liphook also worth playing but quite expense i think.
