what happens when you are for example in a three ball and one player leaves after nine for whatever reason? do you just trade cards amongst two remaining? (I'm guessing you must) but in a big comp I can imagine if you do well in a two ball there would be allegations made about magic pencils?

Yes you would stay a two. I can't think why anyone would think a two ball would cheat, I'm sort of stunned by the suggestion

No problem but the card he was marking would have to be signed by both markers '- him for the front nine and the remaining player for the back 9. Plus the player, of course.
