Sad to read that a player was killed by an object thrown from the stands after an Algerian league match. This brings into context that it's only a game no matter who our team is.

That is very sad - its shocking the amount of stuff that gets thrown at players abroad.

It happens in England but isolated incidents - but its a regular occurence abroad with players being hit by seats before

Utterly tragic and a senseless waste of life....

Maybe we will now start to clamp down on the morons at games over here who think nothing of throwing coins and other crap at players.......

Senseless waste of life, doubtless the perpetrator will get away scot free.

Lets hope he/she realises what they've done and take a long walk off a short plank.

Read that yesterday , sad day , we have had it over here from morons , , walcott was a target last year with coins by fans , could have blinded him or the staff assisting him , in my train driving days i had a fridge , and chairs thrown at my train , as for stones and bricks , had loads of them mostly during school holidays , says a lot about the education over here
