Thinking of buying a new putter off the shelf, the lengths that they come in are 33.5" & 34.5". Now I am 5'11" and have felt comfortable with a 34" putters I do tend to arch over the ball a bit and am a bit rounded. Is this right? My knuckles are 31.5" from the floor. Wrist to floor 34"
In fact just done this http://www.ping.com/fitting/nflightweb.aspx# and ping state 33.5"

In my opinion, ignore static fitting data (wrist to floor) and go pick up some putters of varying lengths and try them. My ping wrist to floor measurements suggest a 34" putter, but I use a 33" as it feels more comfortable. I urge you to try first.

I agree with tsped83-I am 6ft2 and today I was trying a few putters in the shop. All fitting data, common wisdom was suggesting a 35" would be best but the 34"s all felt better!

Why not try a Ping Scottsdale TR like mine, you can adjust the length of the shaft to suit.
