Played this morning...

... for the first time since 27th November!!

Two of the nine holes were still closed because of snow on the fairways, it was only 4 degrees, there was a 2-3 club wind from the west and it was winter greens all round, but it was just great to get out there in the fresh air and swing the clubs!

We started off on the 8th and played 8, 9, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9 and then 1 again and I beat my 11 handicap partner 2 & 1! Didn't lose a single hole to him.

Have I peaked too soon?

Roll on the spring/summer!

Played 9 holes again this morning before work. Teed it up at 8am in the semi-darkness and in temperatures of -5! Won 3 & 1 this time.

Machrihanish rules committee have held an emergency EGM today and as a result Del is now officially a 17 handicap !!!!!
