changed my swing today. left arm straightened. hinge at top. awesome. irons out of the middle, three woods flushed, wedges sweet, the lot. driver, rubbish.

once swing slowed to strimmer speed, awesome too.

unfortuneately, temporary greens, so wasted completely.

Excuse my ignorance but how does a temporary green work.new to golf this yr and my local obviously doesnt have temps.

Yep, exactly. If they are all short of the main greens and one can chip well, it can be a low score-fest!
Some places use big holes too......oh how I laughed the first time I saw one of these......1 putt(s) from 10 yds easy!!! I loathe them, my course doesn't use them ever.

My course has some cut into the rough and some actual second greens which are ok. After checking this weekend for tee off times with nearly only 6 hours full light plus competitions it looks like I will be using another clubs driving range & 12 hole 3 par course for the rest of the winter which is a sh*tter.
