Played Ardglass yesterday

Played yesterday afternoon in a practice/qualifier for the Holt shield match coming up next week.
Started with a flurry of 4's. Drove the ball well all day except for the 11th, par 5 which has the beach running alongside which just caught my first teeshot and no more, managed a bogey 6 and happy with that. Shot 80 with a double bogey on the shorter nine, I finished feeling a little disappointed with my iron game though the guys I was playing with said it was a pretty good round as we were off the full back sticks, I won the little sweep so I suppose Im happy with that.
I couldnt buy a putt outside 5 feet and only managed one birdie all day (at the par 5 15th) good sunny conditions with a little bit of wind but noting like the customary gales that usually harass this gem of a course.
I am going back next Sunday as I am on the team and am looking forward to matchplay again this year though this round coming will be a different beast compared to stroke.
Anyway, the photos, luckily I'm behind the camera so you wont see me in any of them, bar the odd shadow. Apologies on the quality, taken with my samsung omnia phone, didnt want to cart my dslr with me round the course

Wow that looks amazing have seen pictures of the course before but these ones really do the course justice. Am over in 3 weeks to play in the Tullamore Dew golf but alas Ardglass is not on the list, but we got the Brucey Bonus as we've managed to get a game on the Dunluce course at Royal Portrush so really looking forward to that.Good luck for next week.

Err no it wouldnt, no point trying to lie! haha. Forgot to mention it has the worlds oldest clubhouse too apparently, food is excellent, didnt stop this time but expecting good grub next week
