Apologies for the dealy in getting the results online

Obviously I can only post results that have been forwarded, so if your missing then unlucky ;)

Upsidedown stared the 2013 season with a handicap of 5, despite a target of 4 a 20% desrease he finished on 5.9 which gave an increase of 18%.

Staying at the bottom end of the table Bladeplayer (8%), Homer (7%), pbrown (6%) and Imurg (6%) all saw increases to their handicaps.

According to my records five members, Rickg, Robobum, MashieNiblick, bernix and Evesdad all stayed at their starting average, congratulations to them for that achievemant.

Allylodge targeted a 50% drop last year and although the handicap moved in the right direction it only went down by 1%.

Siren set out with a target of 18 which would have seen a drop of 32%, and manged to finish the season on 18,

Mcbroom set himself a target of 8.4 from a starting point of 11.8, a drop of 29% and actually finished with 7.8 or 34%

The biggest LOSER was jimbob.someroo who set out to lose 26% of his 9.5 starting figure, he managed to achieve a remarkable 44% drop and now plays off 5.3

I set myself a modest target of 5% yet manged to drop 17%.

Big :thup: to all that took part

Started at 6.2, I think. Finished on 4.6. Original target was to get back to Cat 1, with a stretch target of dropping to a playing h'cap of 4. Managed to get to 4.4 for a few weeks.

Started struggling off 28 and got down to 20.6. Wanted 18 but that will come soon I hope. Driving now sorted and can generally get near the green with my second shot. From there...... well best not say.

Thanks for keeping this updated matey!

Please with the year all in all. Actually off 5.5 at the moment (stupidly played in some qualifiers in horrid conditions when I was hungover!) but still more than happy with the result.

Think that gives me about a 42% decrease all in, will aim for the same again this year which would see me on 3.2 at the end of 2014. Here's hoping!

Congrats to everyone that had a good year - and those that didn't, stop protecting your handicaps for the King of Kings comp ... ;)

Cheers FT for keeping this updated.

I wish it was a case of protecting my handicap, it was just down to playing utter tosh :D

might serve me well for the KOK though after another couple of lessons ;)

Fair play for doing it mate hopefully if you do it this year there will be an improvement in mine.. well done to jimbob & yourself too mate on good reductions

not that it matters greatly but if i remember correctly i thought id started the year at 7.1 and ended 6.8 maybe i didnt give you the proper details ...

Pretty much summed 2013 up. Swing changes wilted with a card in hand and too many mistakes especially off the tee and around the green. The quest for single figures in 2014 is on...if we ever get a fully open course and a competition to play

i20's or 25's might help. Not sure if you've thought about them

Cant believe I managed to make the stayed the same bracket! After looking like finishing on 28 I managed a nice cut in one of the last mid week medals to end up back where I started. Put some hard work in over the winter and the signs are there that its coming good. So as I always say "this season is the one!"

Congrats to all those who met or exceeded their aims and commiseration's and chin up to those who didn't or went the wrong way.

And thanks to FT for compelling it all!

Want some incentive?

I'm prepared to wager a Fiver (and hope to lose it!) that you don't make it!

Might be able to make it even more special (apart from being one of mine!) by making it the (used and a bit wrinkly) RBS Jack Nicklaus one I have - if I can find it!

Thanks but no thanks. Happy to plough my own furrow and have my own agenda and incentives

Well ducked! :clap::D

So is Single Figures the Target for 2014? Have you actually made a target for 2014? Or the same nedulous sort as the last several?

Had a hunt for the Nicklaus Fiver but couldn't find it. I know I put it somewhere safe, but that's ridiculous!
