Play-off!!!!!

Well after another late night we have to do it all again.

What are your views on the play-off format?

I think our open has it right with the four holes then sudden death if needed. Feel a bit cheated with no result last night

I sat up too, wanted a result but don't mind watching some of the play-off later as it will be starting at 5pm so finished by 9 hopefully.
Kind of want Tiger to win, don't like one-hit wonders winning Majors.
Thought Tiger and Westwood weren't great to be frank, some poor play and tentative putting. Tiger doesn't seem just as invincible these days, Tiger of 2000 would have obliterated them.

I would rather see it done on the day. Sudden death, as many holes as it takes to get a winner.

at our club champs nett i tied with another bloke on -5, we had 4 playoff holes and a sudden death hole ( i won ) that is the right format.

I don't watch the US open.....I did once (not knowing that it's a whole days play-off) and that was the year Ernie beat Monty i.i.r.c. What a pain......

Sudden death.....like penalties in footy.....it's the only way to go.

Have to agree with the 4 hole and then sudden death route. They have it in the USPGA so why not the US Open
