Im off to Royal Dornoch on Saturday for our season Opening match against them. Jacket and tie job, a bit of a session really.

Looking forward to playing there though, what everyone else up to

Burcott Trophy saturday morning (pairs aggregate stableford I believe). Day off sunday (cricket WT20 final) then an away day monday (4 ball sorted, just need to pick one of our reciprocals to play) and then got a game with Gibbo at ours next Thursday.

First medal/comp of the new season on Saturday and I have to work. I work at the course but won't get a chance to play. I'll get a game in the midweek medal on Thursday though.

Carrying on from today of golf everyday. Will get as many as possible in after work tomorrow, same on Saturday after the mens comp then full round on Sunday. Also have a fitting on Sunday.

Dusting off the clubs and hitting the range tomorrow night and playing my first round since Sept last year on Sunday @ Wyboston Lakes with a pal for a friendly knock. Looking forward to breaking in the new Adidas Adipures.

Team match for me Saturday, Sunday just a roll up but the forecast isn't great for Sunday.

Day off work and a bounce game with an old friend tomorrow, then Captain's Cup on Saturday - +0.1,buffer or a cut? - time will tell. Sunday is my 1st wedding anniversary so looking forward to a boozy lunch with my lovely wife.

1st round of the Bell Cup, an interclub knockout, on Sunday. All negative thoughts will be banished, because I am pretty decent at match play :)

Adam and Eve trophy on Saturday. Board comp open to married couples only!! Greensomes format and evening meal afterwards. Sunday is a Captain's Comp and "yellow ball" in teams of four so should be fun.

Next week the season starts in earnest with round 1 of The Grace Norman which is inter-club foursomes. Playing at March so had a knock there yesterday to get familiar with a course I've only played once. Captain asked me today to have a rest day on Wednesday so didn't like to mention I had a lesson :-)

Taking the boy to his junior group lesson on Saturday morning, £5 hit as many balls as he wants for an hour with a little bit of tuition from our pro, keeps him occupied and if he learns something in the process then happy days!

Sunday I'm off to The Essex to play against them in the Jubilee Cup. I'm too low for the pairs match so have to play scratch singles with 12 being the handicap limit. Chances are I'll be against a 12 handicapper so going to be giving away 4 shots straight away. Could be a tough day! Looking forward to playing though, never played The Essex so it'll be another course ticked off the list.
