Season starts next week so who do you think will be 1st to get the sack and maybe who will see the season out

I think Big Sam be 1st , he is on his last legs there

as for all the big managers , jose m is in danger if he does not win anything , 18 months is chelsea average

Wenger and LVG will see the season out

Lambert at Villa for me .. on borrowed time i reckon .. sam will do ok for expectation

If spurs dont start well mad man levy will have that boy pocahontas under pressure to deliver

Alan Pardew at 'Castle.

Despite having a lengthy contract, I think fan pressure may force Ashleys' hand if they aren't doing well by a month or so in.

Would anyone actually be surprised if Mourinho didn't survive the season? He only has to upset Abramovich again!

Just looking at the fountain of all knowledge Wikipedia, out of 92 managers only 5 have been in their current employment for more than 4 years, the Championship's longest serving being 2 years and 120 odd days! Recent history tells us no-one, if the results are up to expectations - even Wenger, is safe!

You say what you like mate but even you know in your heart its true , he has sacked him once before and he has form for sacking managers and Jose has form for not staying at one place too long , maybe this time its different as there is no where for him too go as all the top jobs are taken

Quite sad now that football is a constant merrygoround of managers

Half the managers will be gone by the end of the season

It was Kenyon that got Jose sacked, he was still a red whilst at Chelsea and although he produced what he was brought in for, he left a lot of devastation behind him!

As for managers being sacked, again everyone forgets that at least 3 managers were 'temporary' and they knew that when they took the posts so they filled the gaps they were employed for and went afterwards, the only huge error was employing big Phil with no real background of club footfall and was destined in my view to fail, as much as I didn't like Avram, again he was temporary, personally he should have been given a start the following season but his downfall was losing to Spurs twice, once in the cup and at the lane when we were 3-1 up, where he showed he was tactically inept! He still got us to the CL final though and it all could have been so different!

The reason I believe Jose is safe is purely down to the fans & the players reaction if he was sacked. There is a love for him from Chelsea fans like no other manager. He's got a strong team this season by the looks of things, and I don't think he'll be sacked for just a few bad results.

Losing 10 in a row or being mid-table by December however... that might just lead him to a sacking!

:) :) :) viva John terry :whoo: :whoo:

Would love to see Jose being sent to the "world famous" Bridge Café but can't see it happening anytime soon...

Nothing I enjoy more than seeing someone who is too cocksure of themselves taking a tumble...

He is making the Chelsea 'mob' even more intolerable than usual;):(...

You never say never with him as he has a history of falling out with people , Juan Mata was one and hazzard the other but the one he must not upset is the Russian , lets face it he is a big head , called wenger a loser for not winning anything and we win the cup and chelsea notink , that came back to bite him and not win anything this year and it be curtains

So Arsenal win the FA Cup after winning nothing for how many years......7? 8? Somehow I don't think Mourinho will be losing any sleep about that 'coming back to bite him'. Let's be honest, the big clubs are only interested in winning PL or CL, the cups are secondary importance these days.

I want Maureen to stay at chelsea just to see him whinge when they win sod all :D
(might even put a fiver bet on that one, easy money)

Alan pardew followed by Big Sam

He will if he starts bad , show signs last year and got upset with the players when they lost some silly games to the smaller clubs , you got to be a big head to call yourself the special one and he could upset the players and lose the dressing room , the Russian wont sack the players as its cheaper to just sack the manager
