You guys crack me up!
For those who arnt familiar, this is part of a very fine belt of coastline with Royal Lythem & St Annes and where this pic was taken, St Annes old links course just down the road from RL&SA, Id love to have played either of the courses to be honest as it was blowing an absolute gale on tuesday night.

R.L&S.A.?

Last time I was there, I couldn't see the roller-coaster???

Maybe it was obscured by a R&A tent or something.

Played the course and rode the coaster......(not in the same day)......

Whoops, not the same course....???

Maybe explains a bit.....can't be that far apart though....

I nearly played RL&SA once.

On holiday in Blackpool with my family as a fifteen year old, I'd played once at home with a mate a few days before going away.

It was also coming up to my birthday.

I asked my dad if I could take the game up, and he thought it was a posh geezers game ( this was the late 70s still, don't forget ), but he said he'd go out for a game with me and see what all the fuss was about.

So we left my mum behind and drove off to find a golf course. No clubs, no kit, and one round between the two of us. He drove us into RL&SA and bold as brass asked if we could borrow some clubs and wander round the course for a bit, but we had to get back for lunch to meet the mrs.

I'm still not sure why they set the dogs on us :o
