Pitted shafts

I received my clubs today and I am well chuffed with them,I got a very good deal from NWjocko:thup:

He threw in a 2 wedges free of charge because there is pitting to the shafts on them,it is quite bad but I was wondering if it would spread easily to the other clubs in the bag?

This is something that has never concerned me before but the other clubs are immaculate with very good shafts and I was wanting to see what you guys think.

Now I could easily put new shafts on the wedges but other than the pitting the shafts are decent enough.
