Pioneer cabin tree felled

The most famous tree in the America is no more.

I know it's just a tree, i know some folk wil think yaaaaaaaawn.
But I remember as a kid at Skool seeing a photo of a car driving through the middle of the tree and thinking it was a dinky car driving through a normal tree.

It wasn't until years later when I saw another photo, an I thought flippin Eck that's a big up.

just wish I had chance to of given it a cuddle.

When the Liberty Tree came down Taylor Guitars produced some very beautiful guitars out of the wood. Here's hoping they're able to do something similar with sections of that grand old tree.

Ah say, which tree from shawshank redemption. The one where Morgan dug out the tin.
gutted, Suprised that Shawshank which is one of me fave films was only a "short story " from Stephen King.

That's a great pity but not surprising really as two sides of the tree must have lost a lot of their roots.

Cant afford a Taylor let's hope Yamaha get some wood ha.
