Ping zing eye 2

Hi I wondered what everyone thinks of these clubs? I'm thinking of buying a full set that are on eBay for £16 and thought they might suit me being 6'3?

Welcome along to the forum, any details about you, club, h/c etc, we all like to know.

The Pings hit every branch on the ugly tree but were a great club back in the day, for not a lot of money they could be worth while depending on your game, I have often thought of getting a set off e bay (the copper ones for me) but I keep being outbid, I would like a set to take out during the odd bounce game.

I'm a novice and not a member of a club yet, I generally just break 100 borrowing my dads clubs! The ones on eBay have got three copper ones including a lob wedge, a sand wedge and a normal wedge, a Calloway big Bertha driver and 3+ wood a bag and trolley so they look quite good value and they're in West Yorkshire so an easy local pick up!

At 6 foot 3, you could well need longer than standard clubs, but as I said if you can buy them at a bargain price why not, if they don't suit you you can easily re-sell them.

Once you have settled down it would no doubt help you to be properly fitted but for now splash out and enjoy the eye 2's, let us know how you get on

Do you mean Ping Eye 2, Zing, or Zing 2, as they are different models? Good clubs, but check the specs for length and lie angles. As they are pretty old now they may need re gripping if this hasn't been done already.
