Ping Warantee 2nd Hand Clubs

Hi All

Was wondering if anyone has any experience with ping Warantee and second hand clubs?

I bought a second hand G30 driver from Tony Valentine Golf in Swindon on Christmas Eve, have just got back from the course and have noticed a crack us developed in the head where the shaft adaptor sits inside.

I have of course contacted the retailer in the first instance but in the event that they rebuff me and say I need to speak to Ping does anyone know if this is something they would cover?

Retailer is your best option as a manufacturers warranty would normally only be applicable to the original purchaser imo

Retailer has responded really quickly to say send it back to them and they will forward on to Ping. Fingers crossed! Thanks for the reply

Id be surprised if they didn't sort it tbh mate.
It's not like it's an old model.

Ping are good at replacing faulty clubs, I had a similar crack on my I25 driver and they replaced it without an issue

It's just one of those where it will probably be fine but you have that niggle in the back of your head!

This happened to the g30 I got when the club was launched after about 3 months.
Dealer gave me a replacement head and told me that the same had happened to a demo club they had. The metal does seem a little thicker on the replacement.

Given that this is a known problem, I would expect that Ping would look after you. Why should a warranty only apply to the original buyer? This is not the case with a car after all.
