Ping service - unbelievable!

My Tour W 56* wedge looks like the weight port is coming out with a crack appearing in the casing. Phoned up Ping customer services and explained truthfully that I had owned the club for 2.5 to 3 years and had no receipt as I got it from a now non existant pro shop, their reply was astonishing.
"If your club stocks ping get them to ring us and we'll collect it and fix it for you, we'll cover all costs" when I exclaimed my amazement at this he said,
"For the sake of a few quid we'd rather you stayed a Ping user" - can't speak highly enough of this level of customer service, absolutely outstanding.
 
Ping replaced the weight port in the back of my two iron, again, free postage, free repair back within 5 days.

They really are the leaders in customer service. Cant speak highly enough of their service, that plays a big big part in me staying Ping.
 
I had the same level of service a few years back. I bought a new 3 wood, and after about two weeks down the range I managed to put a massive dent in the head of the club. I took it back to the shop where it was bought and he called Ping and they said they would replace the head for free.
 
Cough Nike cough cough. Next to impossible to speak to, next to impossible to get any action from, won't even look at anything outside the one year warnanty.

That is truly impressive and is obviously already generating a kind of customer loyalty that other manufacturers can only dream of.

I guess they fund it all through front loading the price of the clubs in the end but it is still looking like great value for money - almost like you are 'investing' in ping clubs rather than just buying them!
 
you get what you pay for, and for once a manufacture that looks at the bigger picture. their words sum it up nicely, " your a ping user and we want to keep you ".

you never hear a bad word on pings service, now my hips clonking and i can have a pee in one go i may well consider them next time im after shineys.
 
Glad you're getting it fixed, mate. I'm sure that's the reason for some of those duff chips you hit a couple of weeks ago! ;)

Great service from Ping though. Not sure all EOM's would do that.

Can't have been that close though... I bellowed "Fore left" and he didn't even move! ;)
