I am thinking of changing my putter ( birthday prezzie from HID ) and like the look and spec of the ping Anser 2 putter and was wondering if anyone on the forum has one and what are they like.
from the blurb it sounds as if it will help keep your putts on line if you have a slight arc in your stroke ( which I have ) and I would like to know if this is the case or not.

All comments and opinions welcome.

I would personally ask a pro for advice based on your stroke. I have seen these at my local range (Downshire in Wokingham) and I love the feel of the face. As for whether these variable grooves make any difference or not I can't say as I've only used it on a short mat

Hit them on a putting green and see what works and what you feel confident and comfortable hitting

I've just got the karsten version. I'm in love. By far the best putter I've ever played.
The adjustable length was the big seller for me.
They roll smooth off the face and as they say, off centre hits still role out.
Not sure if the scottsdales come with the midsize grips but the karstens do. Best OEM grip by far!

Don't be brainwashed in to thinking you have to buy a putter that matches your stroke. Tosh. Have a go with a few and just go with what feels best.

I have previously owned the TR Anser 2 and it's a solid putter. But I'm a ho so got shot of it.

Can vouch for how good the Senita version is. Does what is says on the tin. I love the feel. My lag putting has improved since getting this. Mine is meant for a straight through stroke however.

I agree with this,I'd buy a putter that suits my eye & feels good to me.
