When I arrived with Chrisd we went to the tour van and this chap said 'Hi I am Simon'. I nearly asked him what his forum name and handicap was - its was Simon Wakefield (who ended up stuck with me for the day).

Last picture page 2 is myself and Simon admiring the awful lie I had on our first par 5 (5th?). i asked Simon how far I had left (for my second shot right into the gale). He said don't worry as I wont get there. I said I needed to know as I don't want to be out of range for my third.....

Must say Simon was a great laugh. I asked him how long he had been colour blind (a pop at his trousers).

We spoke about so much (not so much about golf) including our respective kids as they are roughly the same age. Great bloke who has inspired me to go to the range tomorrow.

Don't know why I was looking concerned watching TSPed drive in that pic. It was usually the best of our bunch. Great partner to have!
