Anybody currently using these? If so, what did you come from and how do you find them?
Had a play about with some last week during my lesson, swapped all sorts of shafts about and found the standard CFS stiff is a really good fit. Currenlty using JPX-825 Pro's but with a regular shaft as I'm borderline stiff/reg. Getting on fine with my current irons but always fancy something new.

Yeah I had then and sold them after 3 months.

I just lost a load of distance at least a club and for some reason could not line them up properly. They were all over the place. Horrible.

I had the stock CFS distance in regular shafts having previously had KBS Tour 90s in my i20s which I liked a lot.

This was a huge disappointment to me as I have had Ping i series since the 15s.

But each to their own!

Ive had mine for a few months now and really like them. They do go a bit higher than my i15's/Apex forged, but ice not lost any distance. I ended up being fitted for the cfs shaft too.

I tend to struggle with a lack of height which i guess in long irons isn't a bad thing, however I need more height in my shorter irons for approaches to greens. In fairness, I only hit the 7 iron and I was swinging terribly. Next step is to take it out on course with the Nippon stiff shaft as well, they are simialr weight I believe but that is a higher launching shaft.

Interested in this as I like the look of them too, so last when Ping were at AG Bristol booked a free fitting at the Range at Hambroke. Because of my hcp the fitter wanted me to try the G 1st hated the look and was not hitting them well, probably in my mind though, however when I then tried the I E1 so much better, but not much difference the 7i in my TM TP CBs, but do feel better off the face.

What surprised me is that I was fitted for the TM TP CBs and at 5'10" was standard length but the lie was 1 deg down, the Ping fitting put me in +1" 0.75" Up, face tape showed I was hitting out the middle so I didn't challenge it but was very surprised. Tried different shafts but the GC2 showed the ball flight no real difference between the Regular AWT2.0 and any other shaft I tried. So I have decided to get another fitting to see what they come up with.

Out of interest tried the 5 Crossover to add the to irons, hit it Ok bu good is it ugly, finally hit some G SF Tec Fairway woods, not very good to start with but when the stock shaft was swapped for the same shaft 1/2" shorter bingo

I wanted to stick the crossover in too. But I just hooked the life out of it. Much better results with the I series 4 iron. The G irons, whilst more forgiving, just went up into orbit for me. The I series irons seem pretty forgiving to me, and actually feel just as good as a forged irons I was looking at.

I was fitted for the new Ping I irons a couple of months ago to replace the Ping i15s which I had been using for six years. I have found the new irons to have a softer feel off the face and be a bit more forgiving. Tried six different shafts and all but one felt very similar so I ended up with the CFS stiff. I was also borderline stiff but the dispersion was better than the regular shaft.
