Ping Golf Bag

I am considering buying a new golf bag and I've been drawn to Ping stand one, but I'm asking advice on what one to buy. i like the Hoofer C-1 but I am also considering the 4 Under and also the older Freestyle model, Just asking your opinions

Had a Ping 4 under until recently, great bag, not got many pockets but enough to carry what you need.

One of the lads I play with has just shelved he's new ping Carry bag as the straps were toilet, the bag just didn't sit right, I'd suggest trying one and not buying Online

I'm looking for a stand bag, i've got mainly ping clubs but not sure which bag to go for, i quite like the hoofer but think there are better bags out there from different manufacturers

I had a Ping 4 Under bag and hated it. The stand contraption at the bottom of the bag is rubbish causing the legs to hang down while you're carrying and there isn't enough room for 14 clubs in there, they all get tangled at the bottom making it hard to get them in and out. Wouldn't recommend it at all, I'd go with the Callaway G2 Euro...now that's a quality bag! Unfortunately due to my neck issues over the last few months I won't be carrying again....justifies forking out for a Go Kart though!

had a hoofer nice bag, just changed it for a sun mountain h2no, great bag loads room, and waterproof which is main reason i bought it,spend the extra you wont be dissapointed

I've had the 4 under for about a year. Not that impressed agree With swanny about his issues with it.
There's better out there, My bro uses the Callaway Aqua dry stand bag and it's Dugs nuts.

He's problem was that it didn't go across he's back like other bags in a horizontal style, it was more vertical like a fishing rod bag or one that would be used to hold arrows. In he's own words not mine " I can't beleive a company as big a ping could make such a fork up of s bag strap design "

I have a C1,and as swanny says,the clubs get tangled up in it,ive used it for a year and will be looking for something with separate sleeves next time.other than that it is ok.

If you can find one get the old Ping Hoofer 2. Best carry bag ever.

I have a Hoofer C1, utter crap in my opinion as stated above clubs get tangled, legs hang down and the strap system is the most idiotic I have seen.

Was about to start a thread similar to this as looked at the Hoofer bag today and I quite liked it. I have a Cobra LS11 and am getting pretty fed up with the straps digging into my shoulders. By the sounds of it, not many fans of the Ping bags here. Anymore recommendations?

Also had the 4 under and hated the tangling up of the clubs, changed it recently to an MD stand bag and although I feel the build quality is a bit cheap the bag is fine.
