Well i got a chance to hit a few of these this morning on our practice area as my dad yet again has changed his irons....:rolleyes:

Anyway i have to say they are pretty nice....I shouldnt have really swung them as it always gets me wondering what it would be like to play with those type of irons....But I love my wilsons and even though they might punish me a little here and there if the swing isnt fully working properly id find it hard to part with them......There pretty forgiving for a players iron.

But those Pings were really nice...Nice flight....Very straight....No matter what i tried i found them hard to miss hit.....
Even putting a gammy swing on them and looking up to see where the ball had gone it was just high and straight.....

If anyone is even contemplating these i would grab them and hit them....I dont think that you'd be disappointed...

Prefer the I20's as they are slimmer on the top line but both are silly easy to use. I think the G25 are the best looking of the G series to date and less chunky than predecessors. Easy to hit, good flight and very forgiving

I was fitted for G25 a month or so ago and I love them! I'm not the greatest of players and even seem to bit them well!

All I will say is that they mark very easily

I tried the g25's today as one of the lads in our group walked smugly up to the 1st tee with his new shineys. He pulled out his 3 wood and knocked it 190 yards. I cheekily pulled out his 5 irons and was only 10 yards behind him

I do agree with homer though, I prefer the look of the i20's as the G's still look like shovels

I had a fitting at American golf on Trafford park. The static fitting on the ping website etc said 1/2 inch longer white dot. The fitting had me as standard length and lie, black dot. I'm 6'2" so bit of a shock especially as my callaways are 3/4 inch longer and 3 degrees upright!

What was different about the recommended setup when you compared the shots with the static-fit setup recommended by the PING fitting chart?
