Hi All,as i said yesterday,I am looking at used set of ping g20 irons 4-pw,g20 12 degree driver,g20 3 wood ,ping pioneer bag and a mcGregor dx 2-20 putter and a taylor made rac 60 degree lob wedge.Irons have a few marks on the heads through wear, the 8 iron the steel around the shaft is peeling in two places. Not really bothered about the lob wedge or putter.Have been asked for £350.00 for the lot.I have the money at the moment to buy new the G25's irons 4-sw ,driver, wood.Which would you go for.Thoughts please. All replies appreciated

If they suit you, that's not a bad price for the G20s.

If they don't suit you it's a waste of money!

Go find out what Dot you are in Pings. If it matches the ones being offered then you could start the bargaining process. If it doesn't, then forget it would be my suggestion. 12 Degree Driver might help a slice, but would go into orbit for me, as my flight is pretty high anyway.

You are def right homer in the looks dept but performance wise not so much. In saying that I'm hopefully going up to ping in the next couple of weeks to be fitted for a nice set of g25's!

Can't comment on the G25s, but I've had my G20s since January and I love them. I'm a club longer with them than my old G10s (jacked lofts probably) and they are nice and forgiving. Ripping the 4 iron feels great, watching it rocket in to the trees? Not so much.
