Ping G15 / i15

I'm waiting to buy a G10 3 wood until the G15 are on sale and hopefully they will drop in price under £100

I'm dying to try these out. I am one of the few that didn't get on with the G10 driver it seems so I'm hoping the G15 will be different. I also want to see how the I15 irons look in comparison to the normally chunky styling of a conventional ping club

The range i use PING will be there next week. Do you reckon they will have the new gear with them to demo?

Went into our proshop on friday and the Ping rep was there with all the new gear. I managed to have a quick look, and was very impressed. Two new drivers i think one is a tour version and a retro looking Hybrid which the rep tells me is the choice of the pro's he also had another hybrid and a 3 and 5 wood.

I dont think any Ping fan will be disappointed.

Don't forget the i15 driver has in-built fade bias - no good if you're a left-to-righter......
I'll have a look but I'm happy with what I've got - unless they're going to give it away!

Agreed I am sure this will rule a lot of people out from buying this driver as from what I see on the course and read hear there seems to be a lot more people suffering from a slice than a hook.

Absolutely. Those people would be better of with the G15 which is the "game improvement" club anyway. The i15 is for the better players

Apparently only 10% of players draw the ball, so there is a smaller market for the I15 driver and similar. All the Titleist drivers sit slightly open as well, as do the TM tour TP series.

Picked up a ladies driver in AG yesterday (don't ask why, and no, I didn't buy it). It must have been 10 degrees closed, minimum. With 14 degrees loft. Horrid looking thing. Your swing would have to be terrible to need one of these.

Perhaps they'll be at The Belfry when we visit.

For what it's worth, I too couldn't hit the G10 driver - everything went way right. Loved the 3-wood but I'll wait for the price to drop.
