True fit golf at fiddlers ferry is superb for gear although a bit pricey.

I went to clubhouse golf in Salford and I can't recommend them highly enough. If you do go to clubhousegolf ring up before and ask for Peter to do the fitting as he's superb. The only downside is they do the fitting inside on a screen/monitor.

I prefer to see the actual ball flight etc before I buy, but I had my mizuno 800pro irons fitted there and been happy with them. No pressure to buy aswell, paid for the fitting but they knocked it off the price of my irons.

If you are set on the pings, best to get your pro to book you in over at Gainsborough as they have everything they can fit you with ping related i.e shaft, and can give you all the specs so you can then find the best price. You may find you hit other pings better.

Clubhouse golf as great as they are for prices are using an outdated electronic simulator, and you have to pay to use it, and unless you buy your clubs from them its a loss.

True Fit are pricey and even though can give a good fitting still only do it for a price off clubs.

I personally think if you are dead set on a fitting and new shineys you go to an independant such as TourX inWarrington. Personally I would spend the money on lessons and practise till you come down to Cat 3 and use that as a target to treat yourself to new shineys, as your swing will change as you get better.
