Ping Anser Irons

RRP of over £1,000, they will be pretty rare. Haven't seen them or heard of anyone who plays them.

There was some dude on here who had a set in his signature, think he was from the Devon or Cornwall area.

They are nice looking bats but I still prefer the look of the S56'S.
 
I think they're only making 1500 sets and you've got the whole of America waiting to snap them up.
Can't really see why they're 1K when a set of forged Mizzy's or Titty's are £500-600..? I'd rather have S56's and spend the rest on something else - not that I'd have them of course..... :D :D

£140 per iron, yeah I have 2 sets on order in case 1 set gets dirty.
 
Think there are 1500 sets being made but I assumed that was 1500 for the UK market and not worldwide. Great looking club but not at that price for a forged set. Better off with Mizzy if you are after forged
 
Yes I have got a set.

Really like them - they feel great , look great and are better than the I15's

I would say 5-10% more distance - not much between them so its a lot of dosh for not much more basically - if you like Ping and your golf though.....

i wouldnt touch ping irons with a barge pole, they've been casting their irons for too long to expect their forged sets to compare to the market leaders. at those prices you would be better off looking at mizuno, titleist or taylormade

Not sure you can include TM. They cast their clubs and the new forged models out in March are their first foray into forged clubs (ever I think) and I'm split as to how good they will be
