Have opportunity to do either at my local gym, but wondered if anyone had any experience of both?

Any preference? Beneficial for golf?

Any info would be great

Both very good for golf

I prefer Pilates from my expirence of both

Pilates first to build up your core, then yoga. There's a number of yoga exercises that you'll need a decent core before you do them.

Ive been at pilates but felt i was unfit for it, really struggled with some of it my back is weak. Not sure if i will continue. Pilates club or fart club as i call it. Was thinking yoga just unsure

have done yoga historically, been ordered by my physio to start pilates from next week, better for rotation that I will need once my knees reusable than yoga according to her, albeit i found the yoga good

Never done Pilates, but do Yoga every week. Find it very beneficial to keep supple and build strength with some positions. Find it good for "mind and body"
In fact I do a few of the exercises/stretches each time before I play to help loosen my back and hopefully stay injury free.
Personally enjoy it and don't find it a chore

Dabbled with some pilates a few times but never had the willpower to stick with it to see the longer term benefits. Need to think about something as the bod ain't getting any younger or more flexible
