So played for the first time at bushy park nr Watford. Nice course all in all, however witness one of the strangest things I had ever seen on a course. The 3rd backs onto an estate, as we all played our second shots we were greater by 2 guys hiding in the bush behind the green with a megaphone, shouting as we set up each shot. Simply pathetic! (both in their twenties ) after I suggested that I'd me more concerned being caught in a bush with another man, i was called a knob once they had ran back to their house and shouted it out the window! Classic day. Despite this Got my first birdie on a proper course, happy days

Trigger - let me know if it was Bushey Hall as that's where I'm a member at, but our 3rd doesn't back onto an estate, but there is a public footpath running behing it, and in front of houses. If it is then let me know and I'll keep an eye out and if I come across them and their antics then I'll have a word. My house backs onto the course at the 5th green / 6th tee so they would actually live at the top of my road so I can easily track them down and - giving it my best Ray Winstone - make sure it stops.

The alternative is Bushey golf and country club, but as far as I'm aware, there are no houses near there at all.

Pieman - good luck against UTD tonight!!

Yeah it was Bushey Hall - The hole with the pylon left of the green - was behind the metal gapped fence - which probably was the footpath. (Suggest you bait the bushes with Jelly doughnuts!)

Apart from that - loverly course - Enjoyed the 9th and 18 particually - Won £10 nearest to the pin on the 9th simply by getting on the green!

Cheers Trigger - yes, that's the hole. I'll keep an eye out and spread the word amongst the members and we'll try and sort it. Hope it didn't spoil your day and glad you liked the 9th and 18th - they can certainly ruin your score!
