after plenty of pondering I'm now thinking of getting me an electric trolley but have limited the budget to £300 and I'm wanting new.

What are your thoughts on best value for money trolleys?

I've seen these EziCaddy's which I'm quite taken by and they are getting decent coverage. That and for £300 you get a top spec trolley with a free bag. The 18 hole battery doesn't bother me as I've got an abundance of cheap batteries from work

anybody come across them?

Why do I sense another Go-Kart 'debate' about to start.

Seriously though, well worth a look and I suspect you can get one with the matching bag in your budget or the new version that tracks your speed.

Motocaddy s1 u even get £1 change. Old man got one and I used it and it's a good trolley. I brought one last week get to use it Saturday for first time. 18 hole battery is fine gets round ok

Not much help with this one, just taken delivery of Pk sport lithium ebs :D
It's the dugs nuts. (had to cancel Xmas for the kids to pay for it)

Read up on the Ezicaddy the other week and it does sound all very impressive, don't think anyone on here's got one yet so if you get one you could do a nice little review,

might just do that as it does seem too good to be true. The spec is very good, free bag and 18 hole battery is fine.

Connor - The motocaddy looks canny at £299 and Direct golf's 12 month payment option could swing the deal

You could get a Hillbilly which are owned by Powakaddy for less than £300. The MotoCaddy S1 is £299 or the S3 for £399 which at the moment comes with a free bag worth £100 to justify the extra money. I have had mine for 15 months and they are definitely a great job.
A friend of mine has a GoKart one and has had it longer than I've had my S3 and loves it. This guy as no problem spending money either. He has In 2011 had TM then Mizuno then R11 and now G20 drivers and 3 woods and a few different putters. Plus bought his 16 year old a 910D3 and now he also has G20 driver. So no issue to go buy a £400 trolley.
Don't know anyone with the ezikaddy but they do look good and the offer sounds great.

Right thats it..........I tried and failed.....so

PK freeway. Had mine over two years, play 5 times per week in the summer, once or twice a week in the winter. I've got a spare battery but I'm still on the first one and it pulls like a train. Never let me down, never needed a replacement while it gets sorted, it folds and fits in the boot with ease and it takes a full tour bag with more than just a set of clubs......bang.

Had an S1 for about 4 years now. Got its 2nd battery this year. Would buy another one if/when this one goes to the great trolley park in the sky.

Powerbug Sport Digital with a 36 hole battery 200+VAT (240) including a 36 hole battery in Costco.

Great value if you can get the VAT back.

Try my idea, you might get a bargin like me at the weekend ,
an Motocaddy S3 with free bag and a lithium battery for £399, it was a display model , so only sat on there shelf,
point being ask the shop staff if they have any display models they need to get rid off :)

Lots of good advice for you hear mate regarding which one to get. My motocaddy S1 is about 3 1/2 years old now still got original battery plugged into it and I play a lit if golf when I get the chance so had plenty of use. No signs of it becoming damaged and needing replacement yet and fits my big bag full of as much crap as I can squeeze in happily. Quick and easy to put together folds up to a nice size and the wheels are even easy to get off if room is a problem. My mate bought the S3 lithium recently, within the month it was playing up and the battery would not last. Took it back to Direct Golf who sent it back to Motocaddy, turns out the motor was faulty and was draining the battery. A week later he had a brand new one from them. So good after sales, great price good looking and simple to put up and folds flat. In my humble opinion anyway the best value for your money.

thanks guys, i'm going to mull over the options and decide what to do over the coming weeks. I'll check out any special offers and when they end, plus check out other options like payment terms such as direct golf
