Recommend me a phone all you up to date gadget people.

Not wanting to go any more than £35 a month maximum. Under £30 would be a bonus. Mainly use phone to talk, yip that is so yesterday I know! Text or is that txt and send/receive emails

I can get a good deal on the Samsung Galaxy Slll but don't have a scooby about the handset. Also interested in the older iphone.

Help please.

Older iphone is good although battery needs charging everyday if this isnt an issue to do overnight then well worth thinking about. Im still on a 3Gs 2.5 years old and still working like new, just went on a sim only contract after tied in deal ended.
HID has a samsung galaxy and thats pretty decent too better screen quality and pics.
Dont rteally think there is much to choose between most of the phones although IMO the app for apple are better than the android market.

I have an HTC Desire HD which has been ok considering the amount of times that I've dropped it I can't complain.

I have an HTC at the moment. Hate the bloody thing. Unfortunately I still have 6 months to go until upgrade time.
When I do upgrade it will be for an S3. Or whatever it's called then.
Looks a terrific phone.

I have a HTC Sensation and its the best phone I've owned, and I've had them all. I have also just come away from contract (Orange for over 15 years plus) and now use giffgaff.

Costing me no more than £10 a month with unlimited text's, 250 minutes of calls, free giffgaff to giffgaff calls, and 1GB of internet and I've been on & off GM daily the last month and its hardly touched it.

I'm saving loads!

3 Mobile are very hard to beat on price and the packages they offer.

I have that package (The One Plan) on a Iphone 4s. At the time, the package and price could not be beaten.

It depends on your usage.

I wouldn't need everything on offer in that deal so I would be paying £21 more than I would need to!

I think every package is personal to your specific needs as what's cheap for one person will be expensive to another.

S3 is a big phone but its very good, I've been an iPhone user since the iphone 3G and can't see past it, now on my 3rd iPhone, the iPhone 5 which ain't much better than the 4s other than bigger screen and a bit faster.

why not just go sim only with your current phone (if it does what you want), rolling monthly contract so not tied in and decent deals around. I am going that route with my kids & mine. Recession is killing me lol

S3 is big as said. Anyone got one of the new windows phones?

I have an HTC Desire HD which has been ok considering the amount of times that I've dropped it I can't complain.

+1
I have the HTC Desire C and it's taken so much abuse it's unreal. Dropped, sat on, rained on and it's even survived being in my golf bag when it fell over on the side the phone was on.
Plenty of apps and games with the plus your not involved in the Apple con machine and no itunes on your computer!

iPhone 5 all day.

Unlimited minutes, Unlimited texts 1gb of data and a free phone for £36 at Phones4U.

not like you to be a brand whore gareth ;)

personally have an HTC and the Mrs has a Galaxy, pay £15 a mth and get all the minutes and data we need, both do what is required lol, I never understand how people spend close to£40 a month on a phone, Im clearly not doing something on mine I should be (that or get a good deal each time we renew both) :)
