No wonder he is said to have one of the best short games in the World because of his complete inaccuracy into the greens.

So far this year he has 67.06% on the PGA tour, which seems high. Imagine how bad he would struggle if he couldn't chip, but it would be better to see him hit more GIR and make a push for more majors.

This just shows how misleading stats can be if you don't look at the big picture.
67% of greens = 12 per round
John Senden is currently leading this stat with 79% or 14 greens.

Stroke Ave is just over 70 for Phil, just under 69 for Senden.
