Anyone used this for watching tournaments?

Is it some featured groups and holes, plus cbs coverage if on?

If your taking about the PGA tour live app, then the first two days are featured groups and featured holes. The weekend is just featured holes. And it's costs about £5 a month. I had it for a couple months to watch at work, but then I realised that it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. I don't see why they don't have featured groups at the weekend. Get some of the early groups in there and it would be worth it. I might pick it up again at some point but not all tournaments are on it. The majors for example are not available.

I also did the headphones when on and half watching tv thing. Can still follow the general leaderboard whilst watching the featured holes. Similar to if you go to a tourney and sit in the stand for a bit.

I'm quite satisfied with the app so far, but note if you buy it, it comes with an automatic renewal a year hence, so disable it in case it is not for you.

Thanks for pointing that out, I must have been on the week free as it did not ask. Was leaning towards monthly when it does.

Not used it to watch live, but frustrated with it when trying to view leaderboard and stuff on my ipad - keeps jumping and scrolling when trying to view. Hated it and shan't bother any more.

Can't understand your problems with t he leaderboard. I use the PGA Tour site to view the leaderboard as I don't think you can do it on the live app. The main site is quite useable for info, especially the videos of the previous day's play, and the report from the delightful Amanda Balionis.

I have had issues with the leader board on my phone, but okay on the cheapy android tablet.

Seems like it's not going to be available on the PGA Tour Live site. I just get the message that video is not available in my area. Sad.

I am just seeing "network error" and under that "failed to load video : blackout"
Are you seeing something different?

This weekend's tournament is a WGC event. Typically PGATour live is available globally. However, we do not have permission to stream WGC events globally. Unfortunately, you appear to be in an area where we cannot stream a WGC event.

My point was if they are going to ask a subscription then they need to be able to articulate what you will & will not be able to see.

Will see what next week brings.
